We hope all of you and your families are staying safe and healthy during this challenging time. The safety and well-being of our employees, customers and your cardholders continues to be our top priority.

The important role of Community Banks and Credit Unions

As community financial institutions, you continue to play a critical role in helping your community to financially manage thru COVID-19 crisis.

This is even more important than ever as you take on support for PPP, CARES Act and critical relief programs to help people and businesses in your communities. For information on these programs and the opportunities for community financial institutions, see the following:

Primax operates as an essential business

Primax continues to operate at and provide our normal levels of service, with most of our employees working remotely.

As shared previously, Primax is considered an “essential business” and can continue to have people and operations maintained in our Wakefield office as needed.  To further protect those in the office, we have enhanced our guidelines/restrictions for social distancing, cleanliness, CDC mask recommendations and reporting of any known direct/indirect contact with COVID-19.  And to this point, we have not seen any major interruption in our ability to service clients and cardholders.

Primax Client Forum in Boston September 30th – October 2nd

At this point, we plan to proceed as planned with our Client Forum this fall but are monitoring the developments closely.

Note that hotel reservations can be changed without penalty charge up until September 27, 2020 (Primax Special Rate Reservations).  You may choose to wait another 30-45 days to book your airline to avoid any possible cancelation penalty depending on your specific airline’s policy.  Many airlines are waiving fees for changes or cancellations.

The Primax team is committed to minimize the impact of COVID-19 to your institution and your customers

We are all inspired by the heroic efforts and acts of kindness of so many in the front lines, including community FIs, and are hopeful that there may be some small but positive signs the tide is turning for the better.

Please contact your client representative should you have any questions or concerns.

Stay safe.
