A History of Growth and Innovation

1981

Company was formed in 1981 to refocus and revitalize the New England Bankcard Association (NEBA), one of the original MasterCharge regional processing cooperatives formed in 1969.

2007

In 2007, the company rebranded itself as Primax.

2011

Primax sold the Merchant Services portion of the company to fully focus its resources on its payment card program clients.

2013

Primax acquired NEBA’s processing business.

2020

Primax acquired by PSCU on June 30, 2020
